World Championship TC Donic Tables Stephen USA This is a very well-made and well-engineered table. I love the top, as the friction surface takes the spin well, not to mention it is a beautiful color. I'm told that the Donic and BTY tables are made in the same factory in Germany, and that the BTY and this Donic share the same top. However, after using the BTY at tournaments, I don't think it's the same top as the Donic even though the BTY centerfold design appears to be a replica of the original Donic Dehli undercarriage. One thing I love about this Donic World Champion TC is that the undercarriage is very nice and stable with quality materials. It gives a very solid feel to the table. It offers a playback feature, too, and it's stable when moving it around. It folds up easily by just pulling on a handle under the table and then pulling up on table end. The wheels are large and smooth, too. The net seems to be identical to the BTY Europa net set, too. The only thing I don't really like about this table is if your ball goes under it, there are more bars in the way, but this is only in comparison to the BTY fold-up design where there are four legs per side and essentially nothing else under the table. All in all, this is a wonderful table to use and I highly recommend it. Also, the gray paint on the undercarriage matches my flooring, too, and this give a nice playing experience. If you don't care about the color of the undercarriage and you will never use the playback feature, then I'd recommend getting the BTY Centerfold 25 table instead as it is easier to set up and requires less storage space. This Donic table took me about three hours to assemble! Also, if you live in North America, you probably see more of the BTY tables at the tournaments than Donic, so there's another reason to choose the BTY over the Donic (even though Donic designed and probably built the table for BTY!). This Donic table is probably much safer and easier to use than the BTY Centerfold table if you have to set up and take down frequently. In comparison to the DHS tables, this Donic (and BTY for that matter) are of much higher quality and better engineered and put together. If you don't mind the dark blue top and dated look of the Stiga Expert Roller table, it is another awesome table to consider, and on par with this Donic (and BTY) table with respect to quality. I cannot make any comparisons to the Joola, Tibhar, DF, etc. tables. 8
